I work with families to help them better understand how to approach their children and use unique behavior modification techniques where more traditional techniques have seemed to fail. I have extensive experience and training working with families who have struggled in this area due to a large variety of reasons. I use clinical understanding and creative interventions to provide parents with the psycho-education needed to develop understanding around why past strategies have been unsuccessful and build their skills to illicit changes in behavior.

I have experience and training in assisting families in managing the school setting including: Diagnositic Evluations, Outplacement, Individual Education Plans (IEP's) and 504 plans. I have sat on and been a large part of Attendance Review Boards and Juvenile Review Boards. These experiences and training gives me ability to understand the school system and help families navigate it confidently, know their rights and be able to be an effective advocate for their child.

 

This service is provided on an as needed basis and the frequency and overall number of sessions  varies by family. Both virtual or in-person sessions offered. Insurance is not accepted.
